Billed as the first luxurious integrated resort in Jeddah, Rixos Obhur Jeddah will meet the increasing demand for luxurious hospitality paired with high-quality leisure activities in the area. The resort will host guests in 247 residential units, including 174 rooms and 73 villas, as well as a fine-dining restaurant, two specialty beach restaurants, and a lounge bar. Among its many highlights will be an exclusive private beach. Other amenities are to include a central ballroom for events, meeting rooms, a fitness center, a spa, kids and teens clubs, and several swimming pools. All of this will be set amid green landscaping, golden beaches, and a port.
Job Description
- Composes letters on behalf of the Director of Sales.
- Ensures all correspondence is filed in a methodical systematic basis.
- Attends meetings, records and distributes the minutes and follows up on action items if requested by the Director of Sales.
- Maintains a database of contacts, which may be required by the Sales and Marketing team.
- Uses a diary or to-do list for daily assignments/tasks.
- Ensures that trace file is checked and actioned on a daily basis.
- Handles telephones/calls as per the hotel standard and takes messages and priorities where necessary and informs the concerned guest.
- Ensures all outgoing correspondence is typed, proofread, and distributed or sent to the highest possible standard.
- Prepares letters, memos, and other correspondence on behalf of the Director of Sales.
- Sets up a filing system for all relevant and important correspondence or documents.
- Sets up a commercial database according to specific sources, updates, and maintains the systems accurately.
- Updates guest database regularly.
- Implements a daily follow-up system.
- Is familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational Standards Manual for his/her field of responsibility.
- Be proactive and use good judgment when dealing with challenging situations.
- Be transparent in your motives, methods, and expected results.
Qualifications- Relevant Diploma or Bachelor's degree (preferred).
- Must have previous sales experience working in the hospitality industry.
- Strong computer skills with competency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
