Job description

Job Title: Sales Consultant

What you’ll do:

  1. Responsible for targeting, developing & acquiring customers within your sales plan.
  2. Motivated to meet and exceed revenue targets and sales KPIs.
  3. Ensure 3rd party costs are appropriately priced (Fuel, Freight & Rehire).
  4. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and colleagues.
  5. Follow Aggreko’s sales process (sector sales excellence), as well as all CRM and CPQ processes (Salesforce).
  6. Meet minimum sales activity requirements and CRM & CPQ compliance requirements.
  7. Develop and execute a sales and marketing plan for business development, including product/sector revenue targets.
  8. Identify new customers/business to grow key account portfolio.
  9. Expand and maintain the network of current and potential customers through weekly external face-to-face and telephone sales calls.
  10. Prepare and submit proposals that include technical and commercial details of the client’s needs in accordance with Aggreko’s terms and conditions.
  11. Acquire sound knowledge of internal administrative practice, including all hire procedures, product knowledge, and overall depot operation.

The role is 40% new business prospecting and 60% existing account growth.

We’re experts, which means you’ll have the following skills and experience:

  1. Degree qualification in sales or a technical discipline.
  2. 3-5 years of successful sales experience in the power and temperature control industry.
  3. Dedication and commitment to achieving objectives.
  4. Target-driven and results-oriented.
  5. Good ability to read, write, and speak English; knowledge of another regional language is a distinct advantage.
