Sales Account Manager - Construction


Job Description


  1. Responsible for maintaining sales volume & achieving sales quota.
  2. Identifies current & future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
  3. Provides product, service & equipment technical & engineering information by answering questions and requests during the bidding phase.
  4. Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers, planning and organizing sales plan.
  5. Prepares cost estimates by studying blueprints, plans and related customer documents; consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional and technical personnel.
  6. Submits orders by conferring with technical support staff; costing engineering changes.
  7. Develops customers’ employees by providing technical information and training.
  8. Complies with state & local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; advising customers on product, service or equipment adherence to requirements; advising customers on needed actions.
  9. Coordinates with the technical office ensuring the prepared project implementation plan is in compliance with the sales deal.
  10. Follows up regularly updating all pipeline trackers with all prospect jobs to support the sales activities.
  11. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  12. Monitors the performance of Sales Engineers if required and assesses their performance.

  2. Excellent presentation skills.
  3. Very good command of English.
  4. Very good computer skills.

Technical Skills

  1. Candidate will be based in KSA and shall be from BMS / IT / ELV Sales background preferably with sales experience in the Construction sector - KSA market.
  2. Experience in Construction, hospitality, and real estate industry is required.
  3. Experienced with electrical and mechanical contractors and consultants in the region.
  4. Experienced and capable of direct selling experience with contractors/end users.
  5. Drive account management (Client, end users, Contractors, Consultants).
  6. Provide weekly/monthly reports and pipeline management to achieve the business expectations.

Education

B.Sc. in Engineering with a specialization depending on the industry.
