Job description

Participates in the implementation of Safety department policies and procedures to ensure all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled.
Supervises the day-to-day operations of the Safety department, providing guidance in facilitating related professional work processes to achieve high performance standards.
Supervises the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of the Safety unit activity is carried out efficiently.
Reviews the effectiveness of safety procedures and mechanisms, continuously recommending suitable changes or improvements where necessary.
Supervises the coordination with police, fire, or ambulance authorities in cases of attendance at emergency incidents and facilitates site entry and exit to ensure expeditious handling of the situation.
Anticipates possible problems and deploys resources to address them.
Investigates breaches of safety and takes corrective action to prevent recurrence.
Participates in training and development to stay up-to-date with changes occurring in the premises as well as the rules.
Identifies dangerous spots that need enhancement in the premises to ensure that all areas are safe.
Analyzes and reviews developed reports on incidents and any malfunctioning equipment to ensure that required action is taken promptly.
