Safety Supervisor

Ensure that the PTW system is effectively implemented in all work zones under his work area.

Coordinating with the construction team and providing reasonable support for closing out all observations identified either internally or externally.

Distributing day-to-day tasks among the safety officers under his area of work to ensure sufficient safety coverage and improvements.

Reporting to the safety manager all challenges for implementing safe work methods and any mentioned control measures in the risk assessment.

Taking proactive action on site to align with all HSE requirements.

Closely monitoring construction activities and reporting any gaps between the RAMS and the actual conditions on site.

Ensuring that the inspection frequency matrix is implemented on time and with high-quality inspections.

Effectively monitoring subcontractors' activities and reporting misbehaviors and compliance levels to the safety manager.

Ensuring effective implementation of the TBT and any other HSE training according to the TNA.

Ensuring that all workforces have sufficient competency to start the activities assigned to them.

Actively participating in risk assessment meetings.

Conducting effective consultations with all workforces in his area to positively change the HSE culture.

Providing any other tasks or reports related to your department at any time as per the direct manager's request.

Skills

Academic Qualifications and Professional Certifications

Bachelor’s degree holder, preferably in engineering.

NEBOSH IGC is mandatory.

Previous experience and preapproval from the client are preferred.

Must have sufficient HSE technical experience to manage the running activities under his HSE supervision.

Experience

More than 6 years of experience in similar project activities.

Ability to provide effective HSE training.

Ability to communicate effectively in a multi-national work environment.
