Safety Supervisor

Job Detail:

1. Implements and follows up on the daily Safety system requirements in accordance with the relevant standards and requirements.
2. Implements safety and health programs for different sections.
3. Assesses safety and health best practices and communicates the concerns and suggestions with the operational staff and his manager.
4. Ensures compliance with all applicable local and regional health and safety regulations.
5. Ensures necessary records are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines.
6. Participates in Safety and Health meetings indoors and outdoors.
7. Collates and reports the safety results to the department heads and the safety manager.
8. Checks appropriate maintenance, calibration, and operation of all safety equipment.
9. Checks site security, fire, first aid, and welfare facilities and procedures appropriate to the works are provided and adequately maintained.
10. Assists in the investigation of all accidents and dangerous occurrences and reports in accordance with the Client requirements and Company's procedures.
11. Sets a high personal example of Health & Safety at all times.

Knowledge and Experience:

1. A bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or equivalent is required.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in QHSE operations.
3. Good reporting skills.
4. Fluent in English and Arabic.
5. Industrial safety knowledge preferred.
6. NEBOSH Certificate.
7. Only Saudi applicants.

Note: The job will be in a steel factory in the safety division.
