Safety Officer ( Saudi Nationals only )

Job Summary:

The Safety Officer is responsible for monitoring and assessing the potential hazards and unsafe conditions in the company and also providing counter-measures and solutions as per company policy.

Roles, and responsibilities:

• Conducts thorough inspections of work areas, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and rectify potential hazards.
• Draft incident/accident descriptions and promptly report them to the safety Engineer/HSS head.
• Record observations and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Enhances employees' skills and awareness through effective training programs. Enforce the existing training plan to enhance employee awareness and skills.
• Minimize risk by conducting regular safety patrols and follow up to ensure the implementation of corrective actions.
• Conducts regular and monthly inspections for all safety equipment to ensure functionality and compliance.
• Conducts induction training for new employees. Create and share safe work instructions with shopfloor employees. Conduct daily Toolbox Talks (TBT) to reinforce safety protocols.
• Prepares safety reports as requested, contributing to a proactive safety culture within the organization.

Education Requirements:

• Diploma in Safety or equivalent

Work Experience and Other Requirements:

• 1 year experience, preferred to be experienced in the industrial sector.
• OSHA certificate or equivalent
• Fluent in English.
• Saudi National.
• Saudi Ministry of Labor and Social Development Level 1 (Practitioner)
