Eram Talent, a leading talent acquisition consultancy, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer/Coordinator to join our team. As a Safety Officer/Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, clients, and visitors across various industries.
Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain organizational safety procedures.
Enable the organization to adhere to the procedures through training, support, guidance, and auditing.
Support a hybrid work environment (office-based with field work).
Read and understand pre-existing (extensive) procedures and guidelines, as well as update/develop new guidelines.
Communicate effectively with management through status updates and reports.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Safety Management. Diploma in Safety candidates can be explored as well.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a safety officer/coordinator.
Knowledge of common occupational health and safety regulations and standards.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to develop reports for management (English).
Ability to provide safety coaching and training to office personnel and respond to safety inquiries.
Ability to respond to emergency situations or incidents, either during or after regular hours, to provide assistance and advice.
