Rigging Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Provide leadership, direction, support and daily supervision for Rigging crew.
• Responsible to ensure that the equipment selected for use are in good condition and safe to use.
• Responsible and accountable for the maintenance of rigging equipment and materials which have been allocated to the department.
• Clearly delegate actions and responsibilities and define deliverable requirements in terms of scope and schedule to the team.
• Responsible for the execution of day-to-day activities of the Rigging scope assigned.
• Responsible for ensuring that each employee is adequately trained and qualified to execute his work assignment competently and safely.
• Ensures daily loading schedule is sent to Shipping Coordinator and Foreman.
EDUCATION:
• Diploma or Technical Certification for Heavy Lifting or Rigging Course.
SKILLS:
• In-depth understanding of Logistics Management
• Proficiency in using MS Office and Email
• Above average communication skills in English (Oral and written) and Arabic
• Basic Supervisory Skills
• Team Player with high degree of flexibility
EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum of 7 years experience as Supervisor or Shipping in-charge in any manufacturing company, preferably Process Equipment or Heat Exchanger Industry
