Job Description

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  1. Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  2. Manage demand, forecasting and inventory as it relates to driving revenue opportunity for the hotel
  3. Maximize room revenues through a thorough understanding of all booking channels, managing inventory and rate accordingly
  4. Monitor transient and group booking pace in order to determine pricing and availability controls for all reservation distribution sources
  5. Monitor key indicators of hotel performance and third party intelligence sources to identify revenue opportunities
  6. Liaise with Reservations, Front Office and Sales to ensure the highest level of guest service is maintained while maximizing profit
  7. Ensures accurate and timely preparation of analytical reports
  8. Play an active role in the strategic plan, marketing plan and budgeting processes
  9. Stay current with industry changes and how it may impact demand
  10. Prepare and present weekly analytical reports
  11. Follow departmental policies and procedures
  12. Follow all safety policies
  13. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field (Accounting/Finance/Economics/Statistics).
Experience in brand hotels.
Strong knowledge in Opera PMS and other related systems, as well as Revenue Management.
Excellent command in English / additional language is an advantage.
Strong reporting and analytical skills.
Good analytical and numeric skills.
High level of organization and time management skill.
Working understanding of Revenue Management principles.
