ASSISTANT MANAGER/MANAGER (REVENUE ASSURANCE)

Role Overview

We have an opportunity for the role of Manager in our Revenue Assurance and Risk Advisory practice in Kuwait. The Manager role in advisory practice is mission critical and requires multi-dimensional capabilities. The resource will be responsible for engaging with clients across the kingdom and manage/grow opportunities in the space of Revenue Assurance Advisory and Implementation. Identify business opportunities within their immediate client's business or across an industry and responsible for growing existing accounts and attracting new business.

  • Develop a deep understanding of client's business and build lasting relationships with client personnel.
  • Demonstrate technical competence in the solutions group, understand client's perspective and become the de-facto go-to person.
  • Responsible for serving clients and ensuring outstanding quality execution of projects. Develop contacts within the business community and serve as ambassadors of Protiviti in the market. Basis their credibility, they are able to attract and retain the best of talent.
  • Multi-dimensional role encompassing client delivery, solution and business development, and practice enablement.

Role Requirements

  • Identify and evaluate client's risk areas covering processes related to Revenue Assurance, Fraud Management, Credit Risk, IT systems, Revenue generating processes and provide comprehensive input to the development of a risk-based plan.
  • Supervise a team of consulting and audit personnel across different client engagements. Plan, organize, direct and monitor project operations, including overall quality of deliverables, processes and completion of projects within budgeted timeline. Oversee billing and collections.
  • Independently execute and manage assignments. Typical assignments comprise of conducting reviews but are not limited to Revenue Assurance Advisory, Revenue Cycle Management, Process re-engineering of revenue generating processes and evaluation of risks and controls, Data analytics, Automations of Controls, and benchmarking of practices based on best practices.
  • Manage performance of project procedures. This includes identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing, and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures. Demonstrate technical competence in related domain.
  • Communicate the results of assignments through written reports and presentations on a timely basis to engagement director as well as client management.
  • Assist engagement director with identification for any new firm services at existing or new clients. Prepare & track proposals and conduct proposal meetings with clients.
  • Develop and engage team through individual contacts and group meetings.
  • Assist with hiring, training, and evaluation of practice personnel and overall assist in building the practice.

Desired Profile

  • Preferably MBA/CA qualification with Consulting/Advisory experience.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in a related field, preferably in internal audit, consulting, advisory, revenue assurance and/or industry.
  • Excellent understanding of business processes and internal control concepts (COSO, COBIT); knowledge of process gaps identification and auditing methodologies (including flowcharting), IT Systems, Infrastructure, and methodologies for achieving compliance.
  • Knowledge of Revenue Assurance solutions, Risk and Control analytical skills, Revenue management cycle and revenue flows of relevant industries (Telecom, Utility, FS, Aviation) is a must.
  • Expert Knowledge in data analysis tools ACL, SQL, VBA, IDEA, etc.
  • Knowledge of RPA, R, Machine Learning, Dashboarding is good to have.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal, project management and client relationship skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills. Excellent delivery skills and technical knowledge.
  • Prior management and direct supervisory experience in a team environment required. Well-honed mentoring and people development skills.
  • Ability to think laterally, showcase business acumen and well versed in current trends and developments across business & economy.
  • Demonstrates creative thinking and rigorous analysis in solving business problems.
  • Able to maintain a professional demeanor in times of high stress. Works well in a team-oriented environment as well as independently.
  • Able to multi-task, enjoys traveling and meeting new people. Open to travel as necessary to meet client requirements.
