As part of our expanding collaboration, we are looking for a seasoned Retail Business Partner to bridge the gap between Information Technology (IT) and Retail Operations, ensuring the seamless integration of IT solutions into retail processes.
Position Overview:
The Retail Business Partner (Operations & IT) will act as the main liaison between the IT department and the retail operations, focusing on optimizing and implementing IT-driven solutions that support supply chain, operations, and commercial functions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in retail environments, particularly in grocery and supermarket operations, along with a strong background in IT systems and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary IT point of contact for the Retail Operations team, ensuring effective communication and alignment of IT services with retail business needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from supply chain, operations, and commercial functions to gather and analyze requirements, developing tailored IT solutions.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of retail-specific IT systems and products, from development to deployment and maintenance.
• Ensure IT strategies are aligned with the business objectives of the retail sector, driving technological innovations that enhance operational efficiency and commercial success.
• Lead strategic planning efforts with retail management, ensuring IT systems meet both immediate and long-term business needs.
Desired Candidate Profile
Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
Industry Experience: Significant experience in IT management within retail, preferably grocery or supermarket operations, with a focus on supply chain and commercial functions.
