Key Accountabilities
Restaurant Manager
Responsible for overseeing the daily operations.
Ensure a safe working environment in alignment with Sushi Sushi’s OHS standards.
Report all accidents, incidents, or potential hazards to the designated supervisor.
Assist in identifying and resolving potential workplace hazards.
Consistently exhibit positive safety behaviors and adhere to Sushi Sushi’s safety guidelines and operational practices.
Actively participate in hazard resolution efforts.
Assistant Restaurant Manager
Support the Store Manager in leading a team of Level 1 Employees (Sushi Artisans) to deliver exceptional customer service and world-class sushi.
Assist in managing and motivating a team in a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment.
Ensure that products are presented fresh and appealing throughout the day.
Foster a fun and engaging work environment while maintaining high standards.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
5 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in sushi restaurants.
Proven ability to lead and develop a team of Sushi Artisans.
Excellent communication skills and the capability to manage a diverse workforce.
Knowledge of food safety and workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements.
Competence in managing stock takes, cost of goods sold (COGS), and labor.
