Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operation of restaurant.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis.
  • P&L analysis including productivity and cost management.
  • PEOPLE
  • Conduct on-the-job training sessions for restaurant employees.
  • Conduct pre-meal briefing and maintain liaison with kitchen.
  • Ensure that grooming of restaurant employees is up to required standard.
  • Role model the IHG Company Values and Core Purpose.
  • Conduct Annual and Mid Year Performance Reviews.
  • Provide coaching and regular feedback sessions for employees.
  • Hold self and others accountable for achieving results.
  • GUEST EXPERIENCE
  • Supervise & direct courteous serving of food & beverage in restaurant.
  • Implement and maintain brand standards.
  • Drive the guest experience through service quality.
  • Be knowledgeable of menu, recipe and production procedure.
  • RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS
  • Manage daily operation of restaurants.
  • Implement quality assurance programs - I Toolkits.
  • Ensure compliance with the Company’s Fire, Life and Safety requirements.
  • Review checklists to maintain high standard of cleanliness.
  • Maintain database of restaurant clients.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue.
  • Challenge the way things are done; identify areas requiring change and suggest ideas to support the change.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures.

ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Supervise day to day operation of restaurants, maintaining high quality of service.
  • Take initiatives to generate revenue and achieve financial targets.
  • Monitor and provide the needs of the restaurants to ensure service efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Intermediate or equal level of qualification.
  • Completion of degree or certification in Hospitality Industry.
  • 3 years experience as Assistant Restaurant Manager.
  • Fluent in English language and Arabic is preferable.
  • Computer knowledge (MS Office and the Internet).
