Restaurant Manager - Fine-Casual Dining Restaurant (Saudi Arabia)

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee the operations of a fine-casual dining restaurant in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the restaurant, ensuring a seamless dining experience, leading the front-of-house (FOH) team, and maintaining the highest levels of service and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance day-to-day operations with long-term goals to drive the restaurants success.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Operational Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring all departments run smoothly.
  • Monitor and manage the floor during service to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations in line with Saudi law.

2.Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise FOH staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
  • Schedule shifts and manage labor to optimize productivity while controlling costs.
  • Provide regular coaching and feedback to enhance team performance.

3.Customer Service Excellence:

  • Ensure every guest receives exceptional service and promptly address any issues or complaints.
  • Cultivate relationships with regular patrons and VIP guests to enhance loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to maintain superior service standards.

4.Financial Management:

  • Manage budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-control measures.
  • Analyze sales reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Work with the executive team to develop promotional strategies to increase revenue.

5.Inventory and Vendor Management:

  • Oversee inventory levels, ensuring adequate supplies without excessive waste.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure quality products at the best rates.
  • Monitor and manage beverage and liquor stock, ensuring proper inventory control.

6.Marketing and Event Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the restaurant and attract customers.
  • Plan and execute special events, seasonal promotions, and private dining experiences.
  • Engage in local community events and partnerships to build brand visibility.

7.Staff and Guest Safety:

  • Maintain a secure environment for staff and guests.
  • Ensure proper handling of emergencies, from first aid to evacuation procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar leadership role in upscale dining establishments.
  • Strong knowledge of fine-dining or fine-casual dining operations.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and manage budgets effectively.
  • Strong customer service focus with an eye for detail and quality.
  • Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
