ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Resource and Waste Management (RWM) System Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and strategic enhancements within NEOM's waste management framework. This position is a high-impact analytical and operational function, ensuring that NEOM's waste collection, sustainability initiatives, and performance metrics are optimized for maximum effectiveness.
You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing data-driven waste management strategies, ensuring compliance with best practices, and actively contributing to NEOM's sustainability objectives. This role requires a proactive approach to data validation, performance analysis, and operational improvements, making it an essential function within NEOM's waste management leadership team..
Key Accountabilities
Strategic Data Analysis & Performance Optimization
- Develop and execute advanced waste management performance monitoring systems to track operational efficiency and sustainability impact.
- Conduct root-cause analysis of inefficiencies, identifying gaps in processes and implementing corrective action plans.
- Create and maintain real-time dashboards and performance reports, ensuring KPIs align with NEOM's sustainability targets.
- Leverage data science, predictive analytics, and industry best practices to optimize waste collection routes, resource allocation, and recycling efficiency.
Process Innovation & Sustainability Enhancement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying and implementing innovative waste management solutions to enhance sustainability and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with technology teams to integrate AI, automation, and smart waste monitoring systems into NEOM's resource management framework.
- Identify and implement cutting-edge waste diversion, recycling, and circular economy strategies to ensure NEOM meets its ambitious environmental targets.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to enhance operational workflows, compliance tracking, and regulatory reporting.
Operational & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a key advisor to senior management, providing analytical insights that inform policy, procurement, and strategic planning for waste operations.
- Collaborate with third-party contractors, logistics providers, and sustainability teams to ensure seamless integration of operational enhancements.
- Develop clear operational guidelines and reporting frameworks, supporting NEOM's long-term zero-waste and net-zero carbon goals.
- Conduct site visits, audits, and on-the-ground operational reviews to ensure data accuracy and efficiency in waste management operations.
Digital Transformation & Smart Waste Technology
- Implement data-driven decision-making tools such as GIS mapping, Power BI, SQL, and AI-driven predictive models to optimize waste collection and resource allocation.
- Support the integration of IoT-enabled waste tracking, automated reporting, and real-time analytics dashboards into NEOM's operations.
- Lead efforts in automating sustainability data reporting, ensuring accurate, actionable insights for executive decision-making.
