Overview
We are seeking a Reservoir Geophysicist to join the Northern Area Reservoir Characterization Department.
The Northern Area Reservoir Characterization Department is responsible for providing characterization and assessment of oil resources of onshore and offshore developed fields at the highest definition required, with the aid of the latest technology, by building and maintaining integrated 3D geoscience earth models to evaluate all in-place oil resource pore volume volumetrics, support the optimization of oil field development, provide new hydrocarbon development opportunities and ensure excellence in well placement.
The Reservoir Geophysicist's primary role is to interpret and integrate geophysical and geological data over producing fields for integrated reservoir study and well placement. Essentially, this role is responsible for utilizing sound geophysical principles to assist in seismic data processing and seismic data Pre-stack and Post-stack seismic inversion products. Also, provides technical support and mentoring professionals.
