Job description

The HVAC Rental Sales Engineer drives revenue growth by identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with clients in HVAC RENTAL SOLUTION FOR COOLING AND POWER. This role requires a strong technical understanding of HVAC systems, excellent sales and negotiation skills, and the ability to provide trailer-mounted solutions for cooling, heating, and other special needs. The Rental Sales Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of rental site estimation, which includes taking off all inputs from the site to complete accurate estimates for all commercial & industrial rental solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute sales strategies to achieve department sales objectives.
  • Improve customer penetration in the market.
  • Be proficient in energy calculations.
  • Possess skills to identify ECMs and convince clients to push for equipment replacement or retrofits.
  • Have a good understanding of replacement scope and ability to define SOW based.
  • Meet individual sales targets assigned by Line of Business/Strategies.
  • Execute Sales Action Plans in line with the strategy set by the management.
  • Liase with other company functions to ensure achievement of sales and service delivery objectives.
  • Follow up with customers on payments to ensure timely collection.
  • Actively liaise with finance and attend AR meetings.
  • Develop sales presentations and proposals.
  • Investigate lost sales and customer accounts.
  • Track, collate, and interpret sales figures.
  • Forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales revenue.
  • Generate timely sales reports.
  • Help prepare budgets.
  • Conduct market research, competitor, and customer analysis.
  • Gather market feedback to identify areas of improvement on both divisional and organizational levels.
  • Analyze data to identify sales opportunities.
  • Develop promotional ideas and material.
  • Cultivate effective business relationships with executive decision-makers in key accounts.

Minimum Qualifications:

Engineer or Diploma degree in Mechanical or Refrigeration with 4 to 5 years of KSA experience as a Rental Sales Engineer in a Local/MNC company.

Required Technical Knowledge and Experience:

  • Ability to understand site conditions and provide rental cooling solutions.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and thorough AutoCAD proficiency.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills, with proficiency in English (Arabic, Hindi/Urdu is a plus).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and reporting/presentation skills.
  • Minimum of 4 to 5 years as a Sales Engineer, preferably in a similar company.
  • Self-motivated, task-oriented, and able to work independently, managing multiple tasks.
  • Customer/vendor service-oriented with problem-solving, planning, and organizing skills.
