- Assist in developing and implementing security policies, protocols, and procedures within THC locations.
- Liaise with external Authorities for all required security passes and permits; for personnel equipment and vehicles, including long term access, short-term access, urgent/immediate access, and visitor access.
- Assist in drafting budgets for security operations and monitoring expenses.
- Assist in the induction and training of security officers and guards.
- Participate in all security functions related to company assets and operations.
- Issue reports on incidents and breaches.
- Investigate and recommend resolutions on security and safety-related issues.
- Handle compliance and regulatory requests.
- Resolve issues and concerns from external and internal clients/auditors.
- Establish and maintain relations with appropriate government regulatory entities.
- Maintain and update assigned compliance program and risk assessments.
- Monitor regulatory changes as they relate to the firm.
- Conduct appropriate follow-up with those audited to resolve audit findings.
- Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies with across multiple teams.
- Ensure overall implementation of company safety and security policies.
- Carry out their duties in a resource efficient way and actively support THC's Environmental Policy.
- Actively seek to reduce waste in the workplace or use environmentally friendly products.
- Promote and support environmental practices.
- Ensure the health and safety of themselves, company assets, and others.
- Cooperate with the QHSE department and attend required trainings.
- Follow the health and safety requirements of the workplace.
- Report any hazards in the workplace.
- Perform any other duties assigned to him/her related to the nature of the work.
- Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to work and information.
Experience & Skills:
4-5 years proven previous experience in security field.
Thorough knowledge of GACARs is advantageous.
Previous experience in Regulatory Compliance.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI or related software.
Advanced English language proficiency.
Comprehensive knowledge of risk and safety assessments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in aviation security or equivalent experience.
