Job description

As a Regional Retail Manager, the primary responsibility is to oversee the seamless operation of retail outlets while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role requires a keen understanding of the unique challenges faced in the optical sector, such as evolving consumer preferences, advancements in eyewear technology, and the need for personalized customer service.

The manager analyzes sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities, implements targeted marketing strategies, and optimizes inventory management to ensure the availability of the latest products.

Their ability to adapt to challenges and innovate within the sector not only drives sales but also solidifies the brand's presence in the competitive optical market, ultimately contributing to the overall growth and success of the business.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in retail operations, preferably in the eyewear or fashion industry with at least 7+ years in Saudi Arabia.
  • Proven experience managing multiple brands in retail and leading a team of a minimum of 3 to 5 area managers.
  • Manage at least 500+ headcount store populations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications in retail management or supply chain management can be advantageous.

  • Knowledge of retail operations excellence, including inventory management, merchandising, and customer service standards.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and logistics.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and various stakeholders like VP, C-Level.

Customer Focus:

  • Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing the customer experience through continuous innovation.

Problem-Solving Abilities:

  • Ability to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
  • Experience in crisis management and conflict resolution.

Technology Proficiency:

  • Familiarity with retail management software and POS systems.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.

Cultural Awareness:

  • Understanding of the local culture and consumer behavior in Saudi Arabia.
  • Ability to adapt retail strategies to meet local market demands while ensuring alignment with company strategies.
