The focal point between the strategic management team and Quality managers & Infection Control section heads at KSA BUs is responsible for translating Andalusia's Vision and strategic objectives into an executable plan with agreed action items, ensuring the fulfillment of each in the most efficient ways possible. This aims to ensure all services provided by the hospital fit the planned purpose, are consistent, and meet both external and internal requirements, including legal regulations, Andalusia drivers, and customer expectations.
The role shall coordinate and guide all activities and quality improvement projects required to meet the agreed quality standards in coordination with strategic management, hospital management, and regional department managers to consequently improve the effectiveness and efficiency of all processes (medical and non-medical) and achieve the hospital's expected outcomes of revenue, customer base, and value proposition.
The position is also accountable for providing a safe patient and staff environment, including the prevention and control of healthcare-associated infections through formulating and ensuring the implementation of infection control strategies, developing and implementing infection control and prevention policies, planning training programs and education for health staff, and auditing compliance with infection control measures in Andalusia KSA BUs. The role provides leadership in the management of infection control outbreaks and leads improvement projects related to infection control and prevention across Andalusia KSA BUs.
