Job Description

We are expanding our current presence across the Middle East region with exciting expansion projects in the coming years. The HR Business Partner will be based in the Riyadh Office and responsible for all HR-related duties associated with the full employee lifecycle in talent management, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, and compensation. This role will be part of the HRBP team for the EMEA region and collaborate closely with all HRBPs across EMEA commercial and the wider EMEA HR team (Compensation & Benefits, HR operations, Talent Management, and Talent Acquisition). The role will report to the HR Director based in Europe.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with the business to ensure an effective HR Strategy is in place that supports the business goals.
  2. Partner with regional management and other business stakeholders.
  3. Provide support to the management of employee relations issues such as disciplinary, grievance, absence, restructuring, and other key HR areas, including performance management, recruitment, and Talent Management.
  4. Support effective implementation of organization-wide initiatives across the Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Support, and Total Rewards activities in line with business strategy.
  5. Support management on comprehensive utilization, completion, and promotion of the value of the annual and mid-year Performance Management process.
  6. Support regional business leaders in meaningful succession planning activities for their area.
  7. Support the Business Leaders to develop Employee Engagement action plans, providing advice, guidance, and ideas as required.
  8. Be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of HR data for employees and providing suitable metrics and analytics to the business.
  9. Update and develop effective and suitable local relevant HR policies and procedures to implement throughout the region. Provide advice and interpret such policies as appropriate.
  10. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the business, HR trends, and employment legislation and proactively use knowledge to provide excellent customer-focused, value-added service provision.
  11. Develop and maintain written resources such as Handbooks, Guides, Newsletters, Policy Documentation, etc.
  12. Regularly liaise with HRBP in other markets and the wider HR team to share ideas and best practices and ensure the team is working towards common HR and business goals.
  13. Responsible for the on-site country HR Administration from hire to exit in close collaboration with the EMEA HR Operations team.
  14. Responsible for the onboarding of the employees, including ensuring that all documentation is timely available for compliance, payroll, and visa application in close collaboration with the EMEA HR Operations team.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
  2. Professional working level in English and Arabic.
  3. 8-10 years of HR generalist experience across the ME (mainly from Saudi Arabia & UAE).
  4. Knowledge of Arabic Labor Law.
  5. Experience in a multi-site, complex, and fast-paced commercial environment.
  6. Demonstrable experience in leading HR projects (specifically in setting up HR framework in a new country/region).
  7. Team Player.
  8. Good communication skills.
  9. Strong Business Acumen.
  10. Strong Time Management and Priorities Management skills.
  11. Improvement-oriented mindset.
  12. Willing to travel.
