AtkinsRéalis is currently looking for experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team to work on newly awarded projects across varying sectors and various locations within KSA. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team on high profile projects within KSA.


Key Responsibilities


Construction technology


  • Has a good understanding of most aspects of construction technology
  • Has a good understanding of local contracts and practices (for 2b- as expected by APC)
  • Has a good range of experience across various vertical and horizontal construction assets
  • Has a good awareness of basic construction technology solutions that Employers may wish to discuss

Employment practice


Post-contract


  • Can undertake interim payments to be approved by Managers
  • Can write monthly cost reports to be approved by Managers
  • Can evaluate and negotiate basic variations with general contractors
  • Can manage provisional sum expenditure
  • Can make assessments for materials on site
  • Can make payment recommendations for professional services for approval by Managers

What we’re looking for


  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying; or
  • Degree qualified in Engineering with MSc in Quantity Surveying
  • MRICS preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience
  • Has at least 3 years Middle East Experience
  • Works within a wider delivery team
  • Has successfully contributed to the delivery of pre and post contract services on a limited number of projects, preferably related to Power generation and transmission.
  • Can demonstrate pre and post contract experience on some asset types
  • Typically assists more senior members of the team in execution and management of tasks at a project level
