Act as Centre of Excellence that provides support to delivery teams at project level in the areas of quantity surveying (measurement, pricing), as needed.
Oversee that the provision of quantity surveying services are delivered in accordance with the standards and international industry practice.
Act as an escalation point for technical related quantity surveying issues.
Provide functional oversight of all F&E in-house Quantity Surveyors (if required).
Review and approve all cost-related submissions from the PMC and outsourced consultants.
Review and approve costing of value engineering proposals.
Provide technical approval of variations (measurement and cost only) and liaise with A&P.
Provide technical approval on interim payment certificates and liaise with A&P.
Requirements
Education
Bachelors/Masters/PhD in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction, or equivalent.
Experience
10+ years of experience with quantity surveying in an Engineering & Construction environment.
