Job Summary:
Successful candidate will be responsible for incoming receiving inspection, in process and final inspection for Control equipment in Jubail Factory and perform QA/QC related transactions in oracle including part validations. Also, to support in maintenance of Quality Management, Safety, Environmental & Lean manufacturing systems, Supplier Quality Management, preparation Quality Procedures, driving improvement and determining corrective actions. They will report directly to the Plant QHSE Manager and work with the team for implementing and improving quality matrices, lead time improvements and implementing Lean processes.
Role Responsibilities:
- Read and understand Customer/Internal specifications and international standards.
- Carry out receiving inspection as per Incoming Inspection plans.
- Issue Corrective Action Request to Suppliers, follow up on the close-out.
- Review Material Test Certificates, NDE reports, valve & actuator certification pack etc.
- Carry out in-process inspection like heat no. Verification, PMI, hardness, paint DFT etc.
- Carry out final Inspection and certification as per the PO & approved documents.
- Perform Oracle transactions in Quality Module.
- Coordination of Customer Inspection.
- Arranging the Calibration of Instruments and maintaining the records.
- Maintaining/updating the ISO documentations & records.
- Perform Supplier quality control activities, audits, qualification renewal, maintaining records and updating new suppliers in Worldwide Qualified Suppliers list.
- Assist MRB champion in closing RFTs related to purchased part NCs or equivalent.
- Issue rework form to the suppliers, coordinate/visit machine shops for the same.
- Prepare and furnish supplier PPM data in global quality SharePoint and MEA.
- Provide machining related clarification to the new trim part suppliers in India and local rework machine shops.
- Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures, Quality Alerts, Safety instructions/initiatives.
- Lead the SCAR status in MEA quality share point, Review the effectiveness of CA provided by the suppliers and close the same. Co-ordinate with the respective world area SQE on delayed Scars.
- Participate in Supplier QBRs, travel to suppliers site for audits and training.
- Prepare project specific Surface preparation & Painting procedures.
- Train and qualify Painters in Jubail and maintain qualification records of the same.
- Review project painting specifications for new projects & provide clarification on all painting related queries from PM and OE for Flow Controls.
- Co-ordinating with shop on inspection and testing done in-house and report as required by the order (DFT, MEK, dolly pull off, x cut, salt contamination, dust test, holiday test etc...), supervising the Blotter test and Air pressure tests and verifying the records maintained.
- Visiting external paint/coating shops/local suppliers for audits and quality checks as required.
- Offer paint DFT and PMI inspection for Client/TPI inspectors and issue reports and supporting documents.
- Participation in PIM (All orders Aramco Direct and EPC orders), KOM, Customer Project Specific visits.
- Support QP & Spec function to review Customer specifications related QMS & Factory Tests.
- Review Customer comments on QMS & Factory test procedures and provide resolution to Project lead.
- Scheduling & handling sophisticated project witness stage inspections.
- Support all in pipe team for smooth execution of project.
- Verify finished equipment against IPO, using final inspection checklist.
- Create Final certificate in QA Docs for MRO and Projects.
- Review material certificates, as well as NDE reports and test reports against PS codes, customer documentation & special requirements.
- Review Factory test results against IPO.
- Plan, Notify, offer completed products for customer inspection.
- Raise non-conformance and follow up for corrective action and close out.
- Review Root Cause & Corrective actions to ensure effectiveness of actions.
- Liaise with third party inspectors for witnessing of inspection and ensure inspection requirements from Customer are met.
- Part number validation in Oracle.
- Take ownership of Company's Quality Policy & Core Values.

Who you are:
- Conversant with Valves, actuators, control accessories, automation and instrumentation.
- NDT Level II ASNT TC 1A certification in PT, MT, RT (film interpretation) techniques.
For this role, you will need:
- Engineering Degree or equivalent experience with 10+ years of experience in Quality Management in the Valve industry.
- Knowledge in Material Specifications, NDE, ASME, IEC, ISA and FCI Standards.
- Awareness of ISO Standards, API Q1, API 609 Monogram and Root Cause Analysis.
Preferred qualifications:
- BGAS or NACE paint inspector certification.
- Leak Testing.
- Lean Manufacturing, 5S, 8D.
- Knowledge of HSE programs and equivalent experience.
- Conversant with Saudi Aramco Specifications.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
