ROLE OVERVIEW

The DSO department of NEOM requires an experienced Quality systems professional to develop and implement appropriate systems and strategies to support the NEOM ENOWA system requirements and the needs of the maturing DSO business.

REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY

  • Experience with process management and process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with developing and implementing quality systems within an appropriate electrical transmission or distribution environment.
  • Experience in audit processes.
  • Possess strong reporting skills.

ROLE COMPETENCIES & ACTIVITIES

  • Developing quality system documentation for DSO, based on Saudi law and international best practice.
  • Developing documentation specific to DSO, for use by our teams, consultants, and contractors.
  • Be responsible for whole quality life cycle governance during construction - raise quality issues/defects, follow through on rectifications and report to management.
  • Be an expert focus for quality issues related to electrical distribution activities, fully understanding the risks and mitigation measures to be considered, providing formal advice to the DSO team and stakeholders.
  • Develop, implement (including carrying out audits, issuing reports and recommendations for improvements), manage and review quality audit and inspection plans in line with strategic goals and objectives.
  • Liaise and work in collaboration with other NEOM groups handling risks between parties and across boundaries.
  • Liaising within NEOM to drive improvement programs in DSO.
  • Interfacing with others in NEOM ENOWA to support NEOM ENOWA’s objectives.
  • Facilitate full compliance with all appropriate regulatory requirements and reporting obligations.
  • Promote a quality-focused DSO work culture and support all aspects of the DSO Team’s work.
  • Using internal and external benchmarking establish performance expectations to meet and/or exceed NEOM’s expectations.
  • Attend meetings to represent the Standards team as required.
  • Be the focal point for the DSO QHSE Team for quality compliance issues.
  • Participate in compliance audits.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Over 5 years of experience with developing and implementing quality systems within an appropriate electrical transmission or distribution environment.
  • Over 1 year of relevant experience gained in the Gulf Region.
  • Experienced auditor.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Strong reporting skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area of study such as Business.
