Quality Control Supervisor for Construction & Pre-Commissioning Phases

Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement quality control procedures and policies for construction and pre-commissioning phases
2. Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
3. Conduct inspections and audits to evaluate and verify the quality of construction activities and pre-commissioning processes
4. Review and approve quality control documentation, including inspection reports, test plans, and quality records
5. Collaborate with project teams to identify areas for improvement in construction and pre-commissioning processes and implement effective solutions
6. Manage non-conformance and corrective action processes, working closely with contractors and subcontractors to address quality issues
7. Monitor and evaluate the performance of contractors and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timely completion of work
8. Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and provide regular reports and updates to project management
9. Coordinate with other stakeholders, such as engineering teams and client representatives, to ensure smooth and efficient execution of quality control activities

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality control for construction and pre-commissioning projects
3. Strong understanding of quality control procedures and processes in the construction industry
4. Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications
5. Experience in conducting inspections and audits of construction activities and pre-commissioning processes
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project teams and external stakeholders
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
8. Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing and approving quality control documentation
9. Proficiency in relevant software and tools for quality control and documentation
10. Professional certifications in quality control or construction management are preferred
