About the Project: TM and TM Arabia Limited have been awarded two lump-sum turn-key EPC contracts related to a petrochemical expansion at the SATORP Refinery (a JV composed of Saudi Aramco and Total Energies), in Jubail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The overall value of the contracts is approximately USD 2 billion. The contracts relate to the execution of two packages of the complex, namely the Derivatives Units package and the High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) & Logistic Area package.
Scope of Work: The project's scope entails complete engineering services, equipment and material supply, construction activities, pre-commissioning, and commissioning, with a duration of approximately 4 years.
Role Overview: The Quality Control Inspector ensures the implementation of all quality procedures and standards in the appointed area/subcontractor. He/she is responsible for performing inspections on subcontractor's activities assuring conformity to site inspection plans and applicable engineering.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the implementation of all Quality/HSE procedures and standards for the areas or activities (subcontractors) of responsibilities.
- Support the Construction Material Controller in checking the Supplier's material prior to the start of work.
- Address Subcontractor activities for his/her own discipline, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications, site procedures, and Site Inspection Plan.
- Check that the manpower employed by the Subcontractor respects the requirements of applicable procedures and Quality levels.
- Check that the equipment employed by the Subcontractor are adequate and calibrated as required.
- Ensure that works performed by the Subcontractor conform to applicable documents, Safety regulations, and Quality levels.
- Inform the Site Engineer of any detected design errors.
- Promote non-conformity drafts and inform the Construction Quality Manager.
- Keep the Construction Quality Manager informed, receive Requests for Inspection from Subcontractors, and confirm to proceed with the inspection.
- Operatively report to the Construction Quality Manager.

- Attention to detail and management skills.
Person Specification:
- Knowledge & Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience: At least 10 years in a similar role within the oil & gas industry.
- Previous approvals from local authorities.
- Well versed in RTFI.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proactive & self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Good numerical skills.
- Well versed in Microsoft Office skills.
