Quality Assurance and Control (QA/QC) Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance and Control (QA/QC) Specialist to join our team in Saudi Arabia. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive quality management system in accordance with ISO standards. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring compliance across all aspects of our operations, from proposal development to project execution, and ultimately driving continuous improvement and excellence.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality assurance and control processes, procedures, and documentation aligned with ISO standards.
  • Conduct thorough audits and assessments to evaluate compliance with quality standards, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Review and ensure the quality of proposals, covering commercial, technical, and financial aspects, to meet client requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the tendering team to ensure proposals meet the following criteria:
    • Client requirements are accurately captured and addressed.
    • Technical solutions are feasible, robust, and aligned with best practices.
    • Risk assessments are comprehensive, and mitigation strategies are in place.
    • Commercial aspects, including pricing, terms, and conditions, are accurate and competitive.
    • Proposal structure and content adhere to international standards and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to the tendering team on quality-related matters throughout the proposal development process.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure cross-functional alignment and quality adherence.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to promote quality awareness and adherence to established processes.
  • Monitor and analyze quality metrics, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including quality manuals, reports, and records.
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and changes in quality standards and regulations.
  • Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance and Control role, preferably in the IT sector.
  • Expert knowledge of ISO standards, quality management principles, and best practices.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement quality management systems from the ground up.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (fluency required).
  • Proficiency in quality assurance tools, methodologies, and software applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.

Additional Details:

  • Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ, IREB, ISTQB) is highly desirable.
  • Experience in auditing and supporting tender processes is a significant advantage.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Proficiency in Arabic language is an added benefit.
