Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular inspections of refractory materials and installations to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
  2. Perform detailed assessments of refractory linings and components, identifying potential defects that could compromise performance.
  3. Document and report findings of inspections, including non-conformities, to ensure transparency and facilitate corrective actions.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  1. Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in quality control within the refractory or ceramics industry is essential.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred to ensure technical knowledge.
  3. Hands-on experience with refractory testing methods and equipment is crucial for effective assessment and evaluation.
  4. Proficiency in English is required, while knowledge of additional languages can enhance communication in diverse teams.
  5. Strong analytical skills are necessary to interpret inspection data and identify trends in material performance.
  6. Ability to work in high-temperature environments and lift heavy materials, reflecting physical fitness for on-site inspections.
  7. Exceptional attention to detail is critical to catch minor defects that could lead to major failures in refractory applications.
