Job Description

General Characteristics (Job Summary)

• Inspector shall demonstrate a thorough knowledge of codes such as the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC), IPC, ASME 31.9, NFPA 13, 14, 20, 99, IBC, UFC and/or equivalent standards.
• Plan and coordinate quality procedures and devise ways to streamline processes.
• Perform inspections on a daily basis as per standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education and Experience

• The candidate shall have a university degree and a total of seven (7) years of experience in inspection, or a high school diploma with a total of ten (10) years of experience in inspection.
• As a minimum, the candidate shall have three (3) years directly related to supervision of construction activities in the Contract Scope of Work (e.g., oil, gas and petrochemical projects, Infrastructure, communication).

Knowledge / Job Specific Specialty

• Quality Control Inspection

Job Specific Specialty
Inspector shall be a High School graduate or higher; shall be fully conversant with applicable Industry Standards and Specifications; and shall perform a variety of inspection functions with minimal supervision.

• Overall: 5 years
• Inspection Specialty: 3 years
• Contract Scope of Work: 2 years

Technical Skills / Competencies
As a minimum, the candidate shall have five (5) years directly related to supervision of construction activities in the Contract Scope of Work (e.g., oil, gas and petrochemical projects, Infrastructure, communication).
