Role Summary
The QC Inspector will be responsible for overseeing daily quality control activities on-site, ensuring that all interior fit-out works comply with the project specifications, industry standards, and client expectations. This role involves conducting thorough inspections, documenting quality control outcomes, and collaborating closely with project teams and subcontractors to maintain high standards in every aspect of the project.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inspections of work performed on-site, covering all aspects of interior fit-out, such as wall and ceiling finishes, joinery, glass installations, and metal works.
- Verify that all work aligns with approved project drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Inspect materials on arrival to ensure they meet quality specifications and are suitable for installation.
- Perform routine checks on installation methods and workmanship, documenting any deviations or non-conformities.
- Identify non-conformances in materials, workmanship, or procedures, and report findings promptly.
- Coordinate corrective actions with the site team to ensure timely resolution and document corrective steps taken.
- Maintain detailed records of inspection results, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective actions for reference and audits.
- Prepare daily inspection reports and submit them to the QA/QC Engineer and project manager, highlighting key findings and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with site supervisors, project engineers, and subcontractors to ensure consistent quality across all project phases.
- Participate in joint inspections with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders as required.
- Ensure all site activities adhere to quality control standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Monitor and report on compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements related to quality control activities.
- Provide feedback to the project team on recurring quality issues to help improve overall work quality and efficiency.
- Support the QA/QC team in implementing process improvements and updating inspection standards as needed.
Personal qualitiesWe are looking for a versatile QC Inspector in KSA who has the following experience, skills, and personal attributes:
- Diploma in civil engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of QA/QC experience in a quality inspection role within the interior fit-out or construction industry.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Familiarity with interior fit-out materials, finishes, and quality inspection procedures.
- Basic proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify issues promptly.
- Good communication skills to effectively document and report quality findings.
- Knowledge of local and international quality and safety regulations.
