QC Inspector

JOB SUMMARY:

Perform inspection and testing of fiberglass piping. Operates laboratory test equipment and instruments.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITY & AUTHORITY:

• Provide Quality Control inspection support for manufacturing process control
• Incoming inspection and testing of raw materials
• Inspection of pipes during the manufacturing process.
• Maintain inspection log of every pipe produced.
• Identifying defects and acceptance criteria.
• Responsible for spooling the pipe of production reel.
• Extract and perform Samples for QC inspection and laboratory testing.
• Support the production team leader to control process parameters in producing quality pipes.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• General maintenance of process equipment.

BEHAVIORAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Key
• High school or equivalent - Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• 2 or more years of experience working in quality control and inspection, preferably in fiberglass pipe industry.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
• Ability to communicate in English and make inspection reports. (Arabic language would be added advantage)
• Experience & Knowledge working with QMS.

Qualifications: (Education/No. of Years of Experience):

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• Basic knowledge of products, manufacturing, inspection and testing.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
• Ability to communicate in English and make inspection reports. (Arabic language would be added advantage)
• Experience in people, team management and exposure to testing and inspection activities. Knowledge in fiberglass piping and materials (Preferred).
