QC Engineer (Automotive Sector)

Job Responsibilities

1. Conduct rigorous quality inspections on automotive components and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
2. Develop and implement robust test plans and methodologies to assess product performance under various conditions.
3. Analyze data from inspections and tests to identify trends, defects, and areas for improvement in manufacturing processes.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design and manufacturing, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
5. Lead root cause analysis investigations and facilitate problem-solving sessions to resolve non-conformance issues.
6. Maintain thorough documentation of quality control processes, test results, and compliance certifications.
7. Perform audits of suppliers and internal processes to ensure adherence to quality management systems.
8. Report quality metrics and improvement initiatives to management on a regular basis, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control within the automotive sector.
3. Experience with automotive testing equipment and quality assurance methodologies.
4. Proficiency in quality management software and tools for tracking and reporting.
5. Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001) is highly preferred.
