The QC E&I Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all electrical and instrumentation (E&I) installations meet ARAMCO standards and project specifications. This role involves inspecting electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring quality compliance, performing tests, and documenting results.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Inspect electrical and instrumentation installations to ensure compliance with ARAMCO standards and specifications.
Verify the quality of materials, equipment, and components used in E&I systems.
Perform inspections and tests on electrical wiring, control systems, and instrumentation equipment.
Review and approve inspection and test plans (ITPs) for E&I systems.
Conduct testing of systems, including loop checks, insulation resistance, continuity, and calibration of instruments.
Report non-conformances and work with teams to implement corrective actions.
Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, test records, and quality control documentation.
Collaborate with project engineers and contractors to resolve quality-related issues.
Monitor installation, commissioning, and handover of electrical and instrumentation systems.
Mandatory Requirements:
A diploma or equivalent; Bachelor, ARAMCO-approved certification in E&I inspection.
7+ years of experience in electrical and instrumentation inspection, with at least 2 years of ARAMCO-approved experience.
Knowledge of E&I systems, materials, installation methods, and testing techniques.
Proficiency in performing electrical tests (e.g., insulation resistance, continuity, loop checks) and instrumentation calibration.
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings and specifications.
Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
Knowledge of ARAMCO safety standards and quality procedures.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
