QA/QC Inspector

Responsibilities:

1. Inspection of Gas Turbine and other components from various Rotating Machines
2. Compiling Test / Inspection Reports
3. FPI/Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection, level 2, in person specification
4. Assisting in the compilation of Test Procedures and Inspection Check Sheets to ensure the implementation and subsequent successful operation of ISO 9001
5. Any other task requested and deemed necessary by management
6. Monitoring measurement instruments and its calibration
7. Developing inspection forms as required
8. Ensuring prompt communication to immediate supervisor of any shortfall in process or documentation
9. Ensuring compliance with QHSE of the performed inspections
10. Immediate reporting to supervisor any non-conformance with the requirements
11. Filing of relevant documents and records in proper manner

Skills:

1. Diploma Degree in Mechanical or equivalent
2. Certificate – Magnetic Particle Testing – JIS Z 2305 or SNT-TC-1A Level II “American Society of Non-destructive Testing”
3. Certificate – Dye Penetrant Testing – JIS Z 2305 or SNT-TC-1A Level II
4. Certificate – Ultrasonic Testing – JIS Z 2305 or SNT-TC-1A Level II
5. Certificate – Eddy Current Testing (ET) – JIS Z 2305 or SNT-TC-1A Level II (preferably)
6. Certificate – Visual Inspection – JIS Z 2305 or SNT-TC-1A Level II
