QA/QC Engineer - MEP

WSP is looking for a QA/QC Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in construction supervision, inspection, testing, and commissioning for an Entertainment and Tourism Mega Project based in the Southwest of Riyadh.

Your new role, what's involved

1. Develop and implement QA/QC procedures and plans for MEP systems.
2. Ensure all MEP activities comply with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
3. Conduct regular inspections and tests on MEP installations to ensure quality and performance.
4. Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
5. Prepare and submit QA/QC reports to project management and stakeholders.
6. Review and approve MEP materials and equipment submittals for compliance with project requirements.
7. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
8. Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure quality standards are met in their work.
9. Attend project meetings to discuss QA/QC matters and progress.
10. Conduct inspections and testing of MEP installations, including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire protection, and more.
11. Verify that installations are completed according to design specifications and approved drawings.
12. Identify and document any non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are taken.
13. Provide training and guidance to project teams on QA/QC procedures and best practices.
14. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to MEP systems.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Certification in Quality Management or QA/QC is a plus.
3. Quality Certifications are desirable.
4. Minimum 3 years of experience in QA/QC inspection work for construction projects with a reputable company.
5. Saudi Nationals will be considered for the role.
