Job Description

We are seeking a professional and organized Public Area Supervisor to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of all public areas within our facility, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for guests and staff.

1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of public area cleaning staff
2. Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness
3. Conduct regular inspections of public areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards
4. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed
5. Train new staff members on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols
6. Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns related to public areas
7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
8. Implement and maintain safety and sanitation standards in accordance with local regulations
9. Prepare reports on cleaning operations, staff performance, and areas for improvement
10. Continuously seek ways to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction

Qualifications

1. 3-5 years of experience in hospitality or facility management
2. Previous supervisory experience in a similar role
3. Strong organizational and time management skills
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
5. Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail
6. Proficiency in inventory management systems
7. In-depth knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety protocols
8. Understanding of hospitality industry standards
9. High school diploma or equivalent (required)
10. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)
11. Certifications in safety and sanitation (preferred)
12. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
13. Physical stamina to walk and stand for extended periods
14. Familiarity with local regulations and cultural sensitivities in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
