Protection and Automation Design Engineer

Your Role – International, Challenging And Future-Oriented!

1. Study the project technical documents and specifications and prepare drawings for Substation Automation System and Protection system for Grid & BSP Substation.
2. Preparation of Base Design drawings and documents for approval.
3. Preparation of Detail Design drawings and documents for customer’s approval.
4. Preparation of Manufacturing drawings and the required documentation needed to start fabrication at the company factory.
5. Preparation of bill of materials including hardware & software.
6. Support project managers for technical clarifications & meetings with customers.
7. Support proposal team for technical clarifications.

Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid!

1. B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in the electrical substation field.
3. Good knowledge in Automation systems and their protocols such as IEC61850/IEC101/IEC104/DNP3, etc.…
4. Experience in system architecture designing using the required software, AutoCAD, Elecdes and MicroStation and VISIO.
5. Knowledge of Siemens Substation Automation System is a plus.
6. Experience in protection systems & standards of Saudi Arabia is required.
7. Sufficient knowledge of selecting required protection relays is preferred.
8. Experience in L2/L3 devices and Industrial PCs used in SAS.
9. Fluent in English language.
