Projects Planning Engineer

The opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical planning specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring plans to optimize operations and meet organizational objectives. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and a knack for problem-solving, as well as full cost responsibility for the project costs specified in the portion of costs.

How you’ll make an impact

• Dispatching personnel according to the personnel planning and supporting the personnel who are assigned for the duration of the project.
• Evaluating and distributing assembly reports and ensuring that the construction site is immediately supplied with the necessary information, instructions, personnel, and material.
• Continuously checking accrued costs through a comparison of budget and actual costs in SAP, identifying deviations early on and initiating corresponding measures.
• Evaluating progress reports and informing project managers and partners on the status of the work, progress, and accrued costs.
• Inspecting and initialing time sheets, discussing questionable time and expense reports with the superior, and monitoring adherence to regulations.
• Inspecting cash-on-site and bank statements, assigning items to accounts, and performing other administrative tasks related to the construction site.
• Handling insurance cases in consultation with the insurer and project manager, and requesting commissioning personnel according to current planning.
• Monitoring accident prevention regulations and quality assurance measures, advising and supporting employees in organizational and technical matters.
• Holding discussions with construction site workers during headquarters visits and participating in project meetings.

Your background

• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience with GIS is preferred.
• Previous experience with SF6 GAS-Handling and PGHV Transmission & Sub transmission GIS Product knowledge preferred.
• Capability to use MS Project professionally.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
