Project Sales Lead Engineer

We are looking for a Projects Sales Lead Engineer to help increase our market share in the KSA market. The location base is our office in Riyad, KSA. You will report to the Senior Sales Manager for the residential segment and Projects Development Home & Distribution Business Unit. The Home & Distribution Business Unit is responsible for promoting all Schneider Scope in the Distribution segment and Residential segment, focusing on Final Distribution Panel, Wiring Devices, Isolators, Home Automation, Emergency Lighting, and E-mobility Solutions.

As a Projects Sales Lead Engineer, your role and responsibilities are:

1. Assuring full scanning for current projects, especially residential ones in the central area.
2. Assuring prescription and selling of Schneider Products in these projects, especially in the Home & Distribution scope.
3. Collaborating with the sales force of other segments to prescribe and sell Home & Distribution scope in all projects.
4. Maintaining high and effective relations with our distribution network and partners to facilitate our sales and approach to current projects.
5. Providing customers with full technical and commercial support as per project specifications and our portfolio.
6. Preparing technical offers/submittals in cooperation with the Presales team and our partners.
7. Utilizing your relations to reach a maximum number of contractors/end users to increase our market share.

1. High communication and presentation skills, both towards a technical and non-technical audience.
2. Ability to influence, negotiate, and close deals.
3. Key accounts management and strategic planning.
4. Ability to understand and interpret technical descriptions and requests for tenders.
5. Fluent in English.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications:

1. A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (preferred Electrical).
2. A minimum work experience of 3-5 years in a similar role or 5 years in a front office position that requires sales and technical competencies.
