Project Quantity Surveyor

Built Industrial we are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Quantity Surveyor Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with extensive experience in managing quantity surveying for large-scale construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the implementation of quantity surveying processes for large construction projects.
• Conduct detailed cost analysis, quantity take-offs, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Supervise the quantity surveying team and ensure proper training, development, and performance.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve cost-related and quantity issues.
• Review project documentation, including contracts, designs, and plans, to ensure all quantity and cost estimates are accurate.
• Monitor project costs and provide recommendations to maintain project budgets.
• Ensure that all materials, labor, and processes align with project cost management goals.
• Implement and maintain efficient quantity surveying systems, focusing on accuracy and cost efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in construction and engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in managing quantity surveying for construction projects.
• 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor Manager on projects involving high-rise buildings, malls, complexes, or large administrative buildings.
• Strong knowledge of specialized quantity surveying software and tools.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of local and international construction cost standards and regulations.
