Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead and oversee complex Oil & Gas projects, specifically those within the Saudi Oil & Gas Ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a solid 15+ years of project management experience, with a focus on Oil & Gas, and at least 7 years of hands-on involvement in Aramco projects. This role requires an individual who not only has deep technical expertise but also a thorough understanding of Aramco's processes, procedures, standards, and project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple Oil & Gas projects with a primary focus on those related to Aramco.
• Develop detailed project plans that outline the scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation, ensuring all phases of the project are accounted for and prepared in advance.
• Oversee the development of deliverables, material lists, and ensure they comply with Aramco's strict procedures.
• Ensure project execution aligns with Aramco's engineering standards (SAEP, SAES, SAMSS, IR, NMR, SPDP, ITPs, RVL) across quality, safety, and environmental guidelines.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with clients, particularly Oil & Gas Client representatives, managing their expectations and keeping them updated on project progress.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies, proactively identifying potential risks and developing contingency plans to prevent disruptions.
• Oversee engineering efforts to ensure that technical objectives and Aramco's stringent engineering standards are met.
• Lead contract management efforts, including negotiating terms and ensuring compliance with legal and corporate requirements.
• Monitor project costs, control expenditures, and ensure that projects are completed within budget, all while maintaining a focus on financial health and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, particularly adhering to Aramco's safety protocols and ensuring projects operate within legal and ethical boundaries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field.
• PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
• A minimum of 15+ years of project management experience, with at least 7 years of direct experience in Aramco projects.
• In-depth knowledge of Aramco's standards, processes, and approval cycles.

Preferred Experience:

• Direct experience working with Aramco's approval processes and standards.
• Experience managing GMS/OMS projects and familiarity with water treatment systems (STP, SWRO, filtration).
• Strong understanding of quality control and HSE regulations within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Fluency in Arabic is an advantage but not required.
