The opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical planning specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring plans to optimize operations and meet organizational objectives. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and a knack for problem-solving, as well as full cost responsibility for the project costs specified in the portion of costs.

How you’ll make an impact

• Dispatching personnel according to the personnel planning and keeping a to-do list for project execution supporting the personnel assigned for the duration of the project.
• Evaluating and distributing assembly reports and other correspondence, ensuring that the construction site is supplied with necessary information, instructions, personnel, and material.
• Continuously checking accrued costs through a comparison of budget and actual costs in SAP, identifying deviations early on and initiating corresponding measures.
• Evaluating progress reports and informing project managers and partners on the status of work (AD reports), progress (progress report), and accrued costs (cumulative working hours and costs).
• Inspecting and initialing time sheets, discussing questionable time and expense reports with the superior based on the 'Regulations for Assembly and Commissioning Personnel' and monitoring the observance of these regulations.
• Inspecting cash-on-site and bank statements, assigning individual items to accounts, and performing all other administrative tasks related to the construction site.
• Conducting construction site visits for inspection, clarifying unresolved problems, and discussing with employees at the construction site, with a trip report written after each visit.
• Handling insurance cases after consultation with the insurer and responsible project manager, and requesting commissioning personnel according to current personnel planning from internal or external offices.
• Monitoring the observance of accident prevention regulations and quality assurance measures, advising and supporting employees at the construction site in organizational and technical matters.
• Holding discussions with construction site workers during visits to headquarters and participating in project meetings as a member of the project organization, immediately reporting unusual occurrences to the direct superior.

Your background

• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience with GIS is preferred.
• Previous experience with SF6 GAS-Handling and PGHV Transmission & Sub transmission GIS Product knowledge preferred.
• Capability to use MS Project professionally.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
