Your Role

Mission:

The technical supervision of orders for engineered installations from receipt to delivery and assisting CTS during the commissioning and start-up of the delivered installation(s) with the aim of optimal customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Discuss assignments and specifications with the Project Manager and Application Engineering.
  • Participate in meetings (handover/kickoff/progress) in which the project is discussed with intercompany clients/end customers/internal stakeholders.
  • Read and interpret detailed and complicated customer specifications, and the installation offered in the quotation and translate them to the project organization in accordance with design codes, safety philosophies, and the company's procedures.
  • Applying and checking safety philosophies in the design phase for use, parts, components, and materials.
  • Drawing up the design specification (Project Master Specification) including specifying the main components, required inspections and testing, and required documents and material certificates.
  • Checking documents issued by mechanical and electrical design engineers.
  • Preparing quotation requests and purchase orders for these components and services to international preferred suppliers together with the Purchasing department ensure that required BOM items (according to the EP-BOM) are present on time.
  • Prepare and manage multiple project files (duration 6 months to 2 years), from order acceptance to delivery and ensure that the required documents are always up to date (Project Master Specification (PMS) including main component list, document management system and material procurement schedule).
  • Submit the designs and documents to client and certification bodies for approval, assess the comments and changes and, if applicable, process the comments in the design (change management).
  • Formulating internal engineering assignments towards Design Team/GECIA and monitoring progress.
  • Aggregation of Production Folder (drawings/documents, special notes, inspection, and test plan).
  • Follow-up of ordered materials.
  • Incoming goods inspection (main components).
  • Monitor and supervision of production phase according to milestones and deliverables and solving problems that have arisen.
  • Liaise with subcontract labor or contract workforce to ensure timely delivery.
  • Establishment of manufacturing/records book (MRB) for installation and control manuals and spare parts books by GECIA (intercompany Engineering bureau in India) and ensuring timely readiness.
  • Drawing up a list of spare parts for commissioning/startup, drawing up a 2-year spare parts list and determining sales prices/delivery times for spare parts (in consultation with the service department and customer centers).
  • Preparing the IAT and FAT and certification in collaboration with the Project Manager.
  • Arranging packaging and transport of the installation at established carrier and transport documents.
  • Informing Project Manager and management team about the progress of the project(s).
  • Work closely with Quality supervisor regarding the testing and quality requirements of equipment.
  • Conducting project administration.
  • Ensuring the up-to-date flow of information/documents (approval, acceptance of the installation) to and from (inter)national intercompany clients/end customers.
  • Executing projects according to customer specifications within the set schedule and budget.
  • Ensure complete and up-to-date customer-approved project documentation.
  • Ensuring a correct and complete design specification (PMS) and its timely delivery.
  • Ensure accurate control of incoming main components (with associated documents and certificates) which are self-specified by Project Engineer.
  • Making proposals for improvements in processes to optimize efficiency.
  • Ensuring correct and complete documentation for assembly (Production Folder).
  • Ensuring correct content of manuals in line with laws and regulations and risk analyses.
  • Coordinate and deliver correct and complete spare parts lists including prices in collaboration with service department and customer centers.
  • Compliance with procedures (Code of Conduct), business rules, quality, safety, environmental and occupational health, and safety regulations. (ISO/NEN/VCA)

To succeed, you will need

Knowledge:

  • Gas and air techniques and (application) systems.
  • An understanding of ASME pressure vessel code, CE, and Pressure Equipment Directive.
  • Basic knowledge of ATEX, IECEx, and NFPA.
  • General technical knowledge of processes, machines, tools, and materials.
  • Monitor project costs.
  • Project Planning Techniques.
  • (International) laws and regulations in the field of quality, environment, safety, and CE.
  • Procedures, business rules, including the Business Code of Conduct, (legal) quality, safety, environmental and occupational health, and safety regulations (ISO/NEN/VCA).
  • Software (MS SharePoint, MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, SAP, Adobe Acrobat, MS Outlook, MS OneNote, MS Team).
  • The English language is essential.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Aramco project specifications is an advantage.
  • Discuss progress, bottlenecks, and personnel matters with the Project Manager.
  • Consultation on planning, purchase orders, and problems with the Application Engineering, Purchasing, Production, quality department, Design Team, and GECIA (intercompany Engineering agency in India). (English)
  • Meet with internal stakeholders and external clients to discuss project progress. (English)
  • Assisting external inspectors of the classification society in carrying out inspections.
  • Communicating about quotation requests, delivery times, etc. with international suppliers (English).
