Job Description:

1. Responsible for driving the entire end-to-end project management activities for static equipment, modules, and skids with effective cost control in operations by positively meeting the project budget, quality & time parameters.
2. Verifying all contract documents – bid documents, letters of intent, contracts & subcontracts with client, consultant & suppliers – for accuracy & completeness.
3. Highlighting the potential risks involved in the contract.
4. Develop, implement, and maintain project schedules for pressure vessel fabrication projects.
5. Expediting the NMR 601, 602 approvals for Aramco projects within the contractual obligations.
6. Co-ordinate internally with Projects Dept, Sales Dept, Engineering Dept, Estimation Dept, Q.C Dept, Production & Planning Dept, Purchase Dept, Stores Dept, and Delivery Dept.
7. Co-ordinate externally with Client Project Managers/Engineers, Third Party Inspectors, Consultants, End-users, etc.
8. Monitor project progress based on key milestones and performance indicators (KPIs), identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions.
9. Prepare detailed progress reports (weekly/monthly) and presentations for management and clients.
10. Collect data and produce an initial analysis on manpower, labor hour, and labor cost requirements versus budget limitations.
11. Analyze project specifications and resource requirements to optimize project plans.
12. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
13. Utilize project management software and tools for effective planning and scheduling.
14. Participate in project meetings and provide insights on schedule impacts and risk mitigation.
15. Take lead in preparation of EOTs and variation orders with time and cost impact.
16. Initiate project invoicing.

Minimum Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Project Engineer in the fabrication industry, preferably with a focus on Pressure vessel and Static Equipment Fabrication Process.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiar with scope control and change management concepts, principles, and methodologies.
• Ability to read and follow complex drawings/blueprints is preferred.
• Ability to use a personal computer and utilize various engineering design programs.
• Requires a thorough knowledge of technical aspects of oil and gas projects and processes.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in fabrication and construction.
