Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or related field.
• 15+ years experience in project management, with at least 5 years in handling PMC Projects as Senior PM or PM.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery, within scope, on time, and on budget.
• Middle East experience essential.
• Strong understanding of agile methodology and principles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to develop and manage complex project plans.

Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to join our team, with a strong background in managing Project Management Consultancy (PMC) projects. The ideal candidate will bring over 15 years of project management experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership capacity, overseeing PMC projects in the engineering or construction domain. This role demands a high level of expertise in coordinating complex projects, driving successful delivery, and ensuring alignment with client expectations and organizational goals.

Educational and Professional Background:

• The candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a closely related field.
• An advanced degree or relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or Prince2 will be considered a strong advantage.
• This educational foundation should be complemented by an extensive career in project management, showcasing a trajectory of increasing responsibility and complexity in projects handled.

Experience and Skills:

• With over 15 years of hands-on experience in project management, the ideal candidate should have a robust portfolio demonstrating the successful delivery of large-scale, multidisciplinary projects. Of this, at least 5 years must have been spent in managing PMC projects at a senior level, where the individual was responsible for the full project lifecycle from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
• A proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget is essential. This includes the ability to foresee potential risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction throughout the project journey. Strong project governance, budgeting, and cost-control expertise are fundamental to the role.

Regional Experience:

• Experience in the Middle East is a must for this position. The candidate should be familiar with regional project execution standards, regulatory frameworks, and cultural considerations that impact project delivery in the GCC or surrounding countries.
• Knowledge of local client expectations and ability to work effectively with diverse, multicultural teams is crucial.

Methodologies and Technical Knowledge:

• A strong understanding of Agile methodology and principles is required. The candidate should be adept at applying Agile practices in real-world scenarios, especially in environments that require adaptive project strategies and collaborative cross-functional teams. Experience in using Agile frameworks to improve delivery speed, client engagement, and project transparency will be highly valued.

Soft Skills and Leadership Abilities:

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are vital. The role requires regular interaction with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities.
• The Senior Project Manager must be able to clearly articulate project objectives, facilitate conflict resolution, and inspire team performance.
