WSP Middle East are currently looking for a Project Director with strong experience in the delivery of Infrastructure projects to join a significant infrastructure programme in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Your new role, what's involved

1. Accountable for the safe and timely delivery of the contract obligations against the key business metrics.
2. Responsible for meeting the project objectives within the agreed timescales and budget, whilst ensuring that the Project Management System is applied throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Providing leadership, direction and guidance to senior managers to ensure quality technical services are provided that meet both the project and client requirements.
4. Overall responsibility for the management of all staff within the project.
5. Provide overall direction and leadership of the programme.
6. Responsible for the overall performance of the programme including cost, schedule, safety and quality as well as staff performance.
7. Responsible for planning & governance and for overseeing the successful delivery of the project's output in alignment with Client requirements.
8. Maintain strategic alignment between the project and the organization.
9. Interface with the senior representatives of the Client, consultants and contractors.
10. Develop and implement project management plans to ensure the success of the project.
11. Regularly communicate with the company management & key stakeholders to ensure project outcomes are met.
12. Define the project governance (controls), plan the overall project and monitor the progress.
13. Manage the project's budget, risks and issues and taking corrective measurements.
14. Coordinate the project packages and their interdependencies.
15. Manage and utilize resources across projects, manage stakeholders communication.
16. Promote and maintain health and safety and ensure safety rules are being followed.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

1. A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
2. Certified Project Management Professional status or member of equivalent institution.
3. Successfully led numerous complex, large scale infrastructure PMC programmes across a range of clients and multi-disciplinary teams.
4. Possess 20+ years experience in delivering fully coordinated, multi-disciplinary Project Management and Construction Management projects.
5. Proven experience in a Project Director position delivering large infrastructure projects.
6. Ideally has experience on delivery of mega infrastructure projects in the GCC.
