Job description
Location: Jeddah, Mecca and Madinah, KSA. Years of Experience: 3+ years of experience in the health sector. Project Duration: 14 months. Language Requirements: Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
The Project Coordinator in the health sector is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of healthcare projects. With a minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination within healthcare, the coordinator will assist project managers in ensuring project deliverables are met on time and within budget. This role involves handling administrative tasks, coordinating resources, and facilitating communication among project stakeholders to ensure smooth project operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate with project team members, healthcare staff, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
Monitor project progress and track key milestones, providing updates to the project manager.
Prepare and organize project documentation, including reports, presentations, and meeting notes.
Schedule and facilitate project meetings, including preparing agendas and following up on action items.
Support risk and issue management by identifying potential challenges and collaborating on solutions.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and project standards.
Maintain effective communication channels among all stakeholders, fostering collaboration and information sharing.
Provide administrative support, such as managing project files, scheduling meetings, and handling inquiries related to project activities.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination, preferably within the healthcare sector.
Skills:
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or Trello).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic understanding of healthcare regulations and standards.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to manage multiple project tasks.
