Program Engineer

Job Summary:

The Program Engineer will be responsible for managing a specific customer or contract and will act as the primary point of contact between the company and the customer. This role requires overseeing the overall health of the contract, ensuring timely order delivery, and maintaining effective communication with both internal teams and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Contract Health Management
   • Maintain overall responsibility for the financial, logistical, and technical aspects of the contract.
   • Regularly report to the customer on the status of their orders, providing updates on current progress, challenges, and key milestones.
   • Forecast demand for the company based on customer requirements and market conditions.
   • Monitor and update the company on the revenue generated and the remaining balance under the agreement.
2. Timely Order Delivery
   • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of orders by coordinating closely with internal operations teams.
   • Manage communication and coordination with external vendors, particularly if work is outsourced internationally, to ensure on-time delivery.
3. Customer Relations & Communication
   • Attend customer meetings to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any issues or concerns.
   • Act as the liaison for official communications between the company and the customer, ensuring all parties are aligned and informed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers, internal teams, and vendors.
• Experience in contract management, financial tracking, and reporting is highly desirable.
